Atlanta-based rapper and reality TV star Benzino, who is listed in good condition in hospital, believes his late mother's hand may have intervened when authorities say his nephew shot him from another vehicle in her funeral procession on Saturday.
Born Raymond Scott, the 48-year-old former owner of hip hop magazine The Source was wounded after an argument broke out between family members in the funeral procession making its way through the streets of Duxbury just before noon.
Benzino talked candidly about his time on the show and his short stints on TV One’s “The Next 15,” and WE tv’s “Marriage Boot Camp.” Although he acknowledged mistakes, Benzino insists he’s still hopeful about finding the right relationship and being in love with the right woman.
“I believe it’s because I kinda wear my emotions on my sleeve that people know that about me,” he explains, “but I still believe in love and I would hope that’s what everyone wants to find.” Benzino suggests men find a better understanding of what it means to be faithful to one woman and respect a relationship with wisdom and maturity.
During a recent interview with , Benzino explains that he’s done playing the field and that he wants to live the married life. It’s hard to find that.” Despite doubt from several fans of the show, Benzino claims that he honestly thought he found that partnership in Karlie, admitting that he really was in love with his co-star. But when asked if he’s still in love with Karlie, Benzino seems conflicted about his feelings for his co-star. The vibe was really good and I think I was kinda vulnerable. ” Well, perhaps once day Benzino will finally find a woman to settle down with and tie the knot like these other hip-hop husbands below.
“I mean, we went through a lot in that short period of time,” Benzino said.
Besides enjoying some great Southern seafood we had the opportunity to talk about what he’s been up to since leaving “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” and opening a new business.Benzino replied by saying that he would kill Eminem's daughter and since then Eminem hasn't replied, although rumour has it that he, 50 Cent and Angie Martinez and bringing out another diss track.In an interview with Angie Martinez, Benzino accused Eminem of wanting to be a racist and also said that he was ruining the Hip Hop culture.© 2004-2013 Eminem.net, All Rights Reserved.When asked if that’s why many suggest women should date older men, he agreed.“I never understood it before but I’m 51 and I’m at a great place in my life that I’m able to see why being with multiple women isn’t fulfilling.
